The Chancel Choir sings every Sunday (Sept-June) at the 10:45am traditional worship service. They are accompanied by Douglas Franks at the Shoenstein pipe organ, and have a wide-ranging repertoire of four-part, three-part, two-part, and unison music.
Selections include baroque, lassical and romantic composers, such as Bach, Handel, Mozart, and Mendelsson. They also sing more traditional church-choir offerings, as well as Renaissance and modern selections, including composers such as Hopson, Rutter, Christiansen, Sateren, Perfolesi and Palestrina. Sight reading is a plus, for not a requirement, as part-tapes can be used to help learn the music.
High school age and older are welcome.
