The Chancel Choir sings at most Sunday morning worship services (Sept.–June). They are accompanied by Douglas Franks on organ (sometimes piano), and have a wide-ranging repertoire of four-part, three-part,
two-part, and unison music. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings.
Repertoire includes Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, and Romantic composers such as Palestrina, Pergolesi, Bach, Handel, Mozart, and Mendelssohn.
The choir also sings selections by modern composers such as Hopson, Rutter, Willan, Christiansen, Sateren, Sleeth, and many others. The ability to read music is a plus, but not a requirement.
Choral singers high-school age and up are cordially invited to sing with us!
