Our Summer Worship Schedule

Beginning June 13 and through September 5th, at 10:00 AM we gather together for one worship service.

During the worship service, children aged 2 through 2nd grade attend a “Spark” group – an age appropriate Bible study group in which kids explore their faith through interactive activities and games, colorful lesson leaflets, creative art projects, and engaging music.

Sunday evenings, June 20th through September 5th at 7 PM, EVENING WORSHIP with Communion and the Pastor’s Message

Musical Liturgy: “Holden Evening Prayer” by Marty Haugen

Join us for this full worship service accompanied by piano and led by a cantor. A wonderful atmosphere and a meditative preparation for the week.

Cafe Hope is open in Nielsen Hall for Fellowship, coffee and refreshments.

Music at Hope

Music is an essential part of God's work on earth, and we are very thankful that a small piece of that work takes place here at hope.  See the Music section for more about our many and varied choirs, bells, historic organ, and amazing talents!

Children in our Worship

During our Liturgy for Holy Baptism, we as parents and sponsors promise to bring our children to worship and teach them about God. The purpose for this promise is to create the spiritual environment in which our children’s own personal and living faith may grow.

Because of this, our worship philosophies and schedule take into account kids in our midst. Children are always welcome in our services and Sunday School is offered during the Educational Hour between services so that families can worship together. We provide nursery care for the youngest children during both services.

During the 10:45 AM worship service, children aged 2 through 2nd grade attend a “Spark” group – an age appropriate Bible study group in which kids explore their faith through interactive activities and games, colorful lesson leaflets, creative art projects, and engaging music.
