This is the second lecture in our series titled Simply Christian. Pastor Dan begins this week’s class discussing how all human societies throughout history have been religious in one way or another. He explores what N.T. Wright deems our desire to “put the world to rights”, and how this is the echo of the voice of God. He also discusses the human thirst for spirituality and our human desire to be connected to one another. Finally he touches on our need for transcendence. Only the divine transcends death. Divine love is eternal, unchanging, and overflowing.
