Simply Christian – Part 4

In the fourth discussion in this series, Pastor Dan reviews the Christian view that creation “fell” from grace, became alienated from it’s creator, and needs to be redeemed from the evil forces that have taken over for God. The first part of this divine plan involved creating a nation of people who would be God’s agents to bring the knowledge of God to all people. The story of Israel is the story of how God revealed himself to a disobedient people who nevertheless became God’s agent’s of salvation. The underlying theme of the Hebrew Bible is exile and return, and Pastor Dan provides examples of this from the book of Genesis.
