Biblical Perspective on Evil – Conclusion

In the conclusion to this series, Pastor Dan reviews the many ways that Jesus confronted the power of evil in all its forms. Christianity tells us that God had decisively defeated the power of evil in Jesus’ death and resurrection. According to the Bible, death was the punishment for sin. For this reason, Jesus had to defeat evil by letting it do everything in its power to destroy him. When Jesus rose from the dead, he destroyed the power of evil once and for all because he deprived it of its power. Because life won, he became the Lord of Heaven and earth.
