Building Bridges

Hope Lutheran Church Congregation

Using the ministry of Jesus as a model, today’s sermon will look at how confession and forgiveness and how healing and reconciliation can take place in the midst of conflict and the pain we sometimes inflict on others. God does not desire injustice and conflict to overcome bonds of love. Rather, he desires love to overcome resentment and hatred. Confession and forgiveness heals broken hearts and leads to reconciliation.
