What Time Is It?
We are at the point in Luke’s Gospel where Jesus is seeing the mounting opposition around him and clearly says that the people are at a point where they must make a decision. Sitting on the fence or seeing the light and calling it darkness is not an option.
Pastor Kevin’s message this week is “What Time Is It? Judging the Times in Which We Live” from Luke 12:49-59, which takes Jesus’s appeals and warning seriously. Life is not going smoothly and divisions increase. Anyone who dares to be observant can see what’s going on. We have amassed a debt in God’s ledger and Jesus is the only one who can pay the debt. We must to be able to discern the light from the darkness, truth from falsehood, and allegiance to God from allegiance to ourselves alone.
