Just a Plain Ol’ Sermon

Just a Plain Ol' Sermon

This Sunday we observe All Saints Day with a prayer and acknowledgement of our congregation members that have gone to their eternal home this past year.

Our guest pastor this Sunday is Lauren Chambers. We are so pleased to have Lauren join us as she awaits her ordination and installation in the weeks to come. Lauren’s sermon this Sunday will be taking into account the Gospel text from Luke 6:20-31. In this passage, Jesus reveals surprising things about who enjoys blessing and who endures woe. He invites his disciples to shower radical love, blessing, forgiveness, generosity and trust, even to enemies and outsiders.
