Christ the King of Second Chances
This Sunday is Christ the King Sunday. It is the last Sunday of the Church year. Pr. Lauren’s message is taken from today’s gospel, Luke 23:33-43. In this passage Jesus endures scoffing and slander from those who sarcastically call him Messiah and king. In response, Jesus uses his power to welcome a despised sinner to paradise. Christ is indeed the King of Second Chances.
