The Both-And Life: Holy & Hoodwinked

This Sunday we observe all Saints Day. We remember the members of Hope’s community that ascended to the Church Triumphant this past year.

Pastor Lauren’s sermon series the Both & Life continues this week. The Gospel text for this week’s sermon is Matthew 23:1-12. In this passage, Jesus encourages his disciples to obey the words of Moses they hear from their teachers, but to shun the hy0pocrisy and pretension of those who do not practice what they preach.
