LEARN WITH HOPE
Video recordings of Bible studies are now available on this website. These studies will enhance your historical understanding of theology through the ages and provide spiritual growth for you.
An in-depth adult bible study class, led by Pastor Dan Severson, meets every Sunday after Café Hope from 11:45 am to 12:45 pm. While the format is primarily lecture, discussion is encouraged. Whether the study focuses on the Bible as a whole, or one particular book in the Bible, we look at historical context, authorship, theological perspective, and practical application. All interested persons are invited to attend whether you are a member of Hope or not. For more information, please call Pastor Severson at the church office.
Hope Lutheran Church regularly schedules pastor-led classes on topics of theological and spiritual concern. On the agenda for the near future is a class on the Church Fathers and orthodox spirituality. Also, in recognition of the 500 th anniversary of the Reformation, we will look at contemporary research on the theology of Martin Luther and its lasting impact.
Tired of running in circles? Why not STOP and join one – a circle, that is!
Each month, women gather in small groups (circles) usually in homes, for member-led Bible Studies, fellowship and refreshments. Close bonds are formed.
If you are interested in such an activity, please contact the church office for further details.
