Access to Heaven
Today’s gospel lesson from John comes at the very beginning of Jesus’s ministry. This passage is providing a preview of Jesus’ resurrected body and what all of us have to look forward to in heaven. People who believe that this is their destiny live in hope. Those who do not have hope live in despair. When we live in hope, we can overcome the causes of despair in our lives, and make positive changes in our community.
