August 23rd: No One Can Do it For You
Summary: The gospel text for this week’s sermon is from Matthew Chapter 16, in which Jesus asks the disciples who they think he is. Pastor Dan relates this to our worries about the future, and our preparations for the future in a climate of uncertainty. The message of this text is that if we truly believe that Jesus is the Messiah who came to save the world, than God will take care of the future. We should not worry.
