August 30th The Road to Self Discovery
Summary: What does it mean to take up our cross and follow Jesus? In today’s gospel lesson from Matthew, Jesus is talking about a process by which we can be reconciled to God. God does not stop loving us because we are sinners, but we need to be prepared to recommit ourselves to Jesus Christ. This is how we receive the grace that saves.
