Be Present At Our Table Lord
This Sunday we welcome back Dr. Rev. Moses Penumaka to lead our worship.
The text for this Sunday’s sermon is from our gospel lesson in John, chapter 6. This passage uncovers the true motivation of the crowd following Jesus: selfishness. It is part of a long dialogue where Christ clarifies the meaning of His miracles. Jesus has just explained that He, Himself, is the ”Bread of Life” which people are meant to seek.
Jesus Christ, who paid the wages of our sin, will not choose who may go and who will stay. He will usher us to the path leading to God. It is our choice whether to accept the gift that God has given us. It is our choice to believe or not.
