Enlightenment – The Transfiguration of Our Lord
Summary: All of us has what is sometimes considered a “world view”. This consists of not just the things we can see, taste, or hear, but also includes our convictions, feelings, and opinions. Anything that shapes your values and behavior in the world becomes part of your world view. For Christians, belief in God stands in the center of our world view. Christians also call coming to a knowledge of the truth about Christ “Enlightenment”. Anyone can have an Enlightenment moment that confirms that Jesus is the son of God. When we believe, the light of Christ will shine in our hearts.
