November 29: The Apocalypse: Nightmare or Celebration?
Summary: The Advent season focuses on two events: waiting for the birth of Jesus and waiting for the second coming of Christ. Advent is about living in Hope. Because of the ministry of Christ, life and God’s mercy will prevail. In his sermon, Pastor Dan reveals that today’s Gospel lesson from Luke addresses three concepts related to the second coming: (1) the undoing of God’s creation, (2) the growth of a new order, and (3) a warning to be ready and nurture our faith.
