September 13: New Birth Through Forgiveness
Summary: Today’s texts are about a God that is merciful and forgives. Through the bible stories of Jonah and Joseph, Pastor Dan teaches that if we wish to become instruments of God’s word to the world, we need to be people that are capable of reflecting God’s character to others. But is it possible for us to show the same greatness and mercy in our relationships with other people? Yes, it is possible to reflect God’s love toward others – as long as we allow God’s mercy and love to change us. When we stand on the rock of Christ, we too will have the the ability to avoid the sins of the world. Where there is forgiveness, there is salvation and eternal life with God.
