The First Sign: Water Into Wine

Today’s message is about “Jesus’ First Miracle: Water Into Wine” (John 2:1-12). This is a curious story which has lots of eye-witness details. John, “the beloved disciple” give us an insider’s view of what this man Jesus was like, and how he operated. We see how caring Jesus is and how he pays attention to both our wants and needs. For those of us who want to know Jesus better, this is exactly the kind of text that makes him clearer in our hearts and minds.
