The Foundation of Hope
July 9, 2023
Today’s lessons are invitations to find our hope in what God does for us, not in trying to go it alone, or by relying on the false promises of an idol. Hope for becoming a person who deserves God’s love resides in what Christ did for us on the cross. Therefore, we are justified by Christ, not by trying to make ourselves deserving in God’s sight.
