The Manifestation of our Lord
Summary: Epiphany is a time a of God revealing himself to us. Christians believe we cannot accept Christ on our own – God must reveal himself to us. The story of the wise men is symbolic of this. The star the Wise Men followed was a light, and it allowed them to see a child whose presence is beyond human understanding – a child of the living God. God sent a savior to reveal to us that God’s love, mercy, and power over life will triumph.
