Unintended Consequences
The First Sunday in Advent
During today’s Worship Service we will light the first Advent Candle, HOPE. In today’s Gospel reading from Mark chapter 13, Jesus encourages his followers to look forward to the day when he returns in power and glory to nd all suffering. We should remember that there is a God who is always there for us, with that we should be there for him by praying, serving people, and loving our neighbor. God tells us to live out this life in his love so that we may be prepared for when he comes back to save us all.
