You Say You Want a Resolution?
This Sunday is the Sunday of Epiphany. In Christianity, Epiphany marks God revealing Himself to the world (like the Magi visiting Jesus) or to an individual, inviting deeper faith, witness, and a journey of discovery. The gospel text for this week is from John 1:1-18. This passage introduces Jesus as the divine, eternal Logos (Word) — God with God from the beginning, who created all things and became flesh (incarnated) to bring divine grace, truth and light to humanity, revealing the unseen God to those who believe. It establishes Jesus’ divinity, role in creation, and mission to give believers the right to become children of God, contrasting the Law (Moses) with the abundant grace and truth found in Christ.
