Who is my Neighbor?

Who is my Neighbor?

This week we begin a series of sermons that both ask us to consider some existential questions as well as get us thinking about discipleship (the theme of the Pentecost Season) and stewardship ( how we are God-honoring in managing our resources, gifts and talents) and how these are not just closely linked, but completely tied together. This week, based on the Gospel text from Luke 10: 25-37, we answer a hot question for our society and country, “Who is my neighbor?” Jesus is asked this question and he answers a different question, “Who are we to be a neighbor to?” Join us this Sunday as Pastor Kevin kicks-off our summer sermon series and helps us to reflect on some of the big questions related to following Jesus and how it shapes the daily choices of our lives.
