I Heard It Through the GrapeVine
The Second Sunday After Pentecost
This week, Pastor Lauren begins a series of sermons – “Let Me Tell You A STORY” – from Jesus’ parables. The Gospel text is from Mark 12: 1-12. This passage provides us with a parable about rejection. We learn through this story that salvation is not earned. Eternal life is a gift that God gives purely by grace according to God’s will and God gives the same abundant grace to everyone who follows Christ.
