On the Edge of Everything
This Sunday’s Gospel lesson is from Mark 13: 1-8.
Jesus predicts the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem which causes immediate questions for his disciples. Their questions are similar to our own. “When will these things take place?” “How will we know the signs of when things are drawing closer to the end?”
We all have these questions and there are no easy answers. Pastor Kevin suggests that the “odds are” it’s more likely that we are going to be with the Lord before God chooses to end human history. So how then do we live in the light of the being on the brink of everything? This is a message designed to encourage [speak courage into] us. Join us this Sunday as Jesus invites and challenges us to be his faithful followers.
