The Fifth Sunday After Pentecost

Pastor Lauren continues her series of sermons – “Let Me Tell You A STORY” – from Jesus’ parables. The Gospel text is from Luke 10: 25-37. This passage contains the famous Parable of the Good Samaritan, in which Jesus teaches that loving one’s neighbor means showing active compassion to anyone in need, regardless of their background. It is a radical call to cross cultural, racial, and religious boundaries to help others.
